Almost Art: Scrapbook supplies and framing

Today’s creative expression was through some scrapbook-esque framing and stamping. I had some clip frames from ikea that I hadn’t figured out what to do with and while I was at Micheal’s I stumbled upon a scrapbooking kit that had some themed papers and stickers that was on clearance. I loved the style and a lot of the quotes and when I saw it all laid out I felt like I needed to put something together. It felt like a welcome play with arts and crafts since I’ve been inactive in my arts for such a long time. I tend to put a lot of pressure on it though, especially on the outcome, so it’s great that I had something that was kinda spontaneous and short term.

I love the three dimensional quality of scrapbooking stickers.

I’m going to try and keep up small projects instead of waiting for the time to be right for creative genius- because I’ll continue waiting. Hope it makes someone smile.
